Old Forge is located in the Central Adirondack region of Upstate New York, and is within the Adirondack Park. The town has plenty to offer in terms of shops, restaurants, services and activities. It is a year round thriving community with snowmobiling, skiing and snow enthusiasts in the winter months and summer time fun in the lakes, mountains and there is even a large waterpark located in Old Forge. Walk out your door and have many free amenities if you like to bike, hike or just walk you dog. Gray Lake road is a dead end, town maintained road.
