A two hundred year old renovated granite farm house complex situated in the beautiful Alva Valley on the edge of the Serra da Estrela, National Park, surrounded by extensive gardens , parks and orchards.
The location, overlooking the river Alva, is one and a half hours away from the Spanish border, one hour to the nearest Atlantic beach and is half an hour to the serra ski resort. There is a five star Spa Hotel fifteen minutes walk away on the river.
The complex consists of on open plan, two storey main building with on the ground floor, a covered terrace, kitchen, bathroom, utility/store room, a large dining and living area(approximately seventyfive square meters) and on the first floor a mazzanine, four bedrooms, bathroom, study room, two balconies and a large storage area at the rear.
The second building consists of, on the first floor, a living room, a study/bedroom, a shower and separate toilet and a balcony. On the ground floor is a covered terrace, tool room with a stone oven, studio with a bed mazzanine, bathroom and an attached garage area for three cars.
Outside facilities include a swimming pool, pump house, sauna, woodstore, barbacue area and a watertank house.
