château de fonteneau, built in 1756, is in the classical french style, with facades of pure architectural lines that are now listed. set in the heart of a 6-hectare estate with partially open parklands and wooded areas, it features a stream that forms a pond with a triple, fan-shaped waterfall. originally, the 1,100 m² cast le was completed by two pavilions located at the ends of the main building. only one of the two pavilions remains, while the second has been convert ed into a belvedere terrace.
