villa tranquila is a modern ocean-view home set above the pacific in the private hillside community of playa roble, just a short walk from the beach. elevated above the jungle canopy, the home looks out across carrillo bay, delivering open water views, sunsets, and a constant ocean breeze.
the design is clean and intentional. concrete, wood, and glass come together in a way that feels solid, modern, and grounded in the landscape. floor-to-ceiling sliding doors connect the main living spaces to wide terraces and an infinity-edge pool, creating a seamless flow between indoors and outdoors. from nearly every room, the ocean remains in view.
the home offers five bedrooms and four bathrooms, allowing flexibility for families, guests, or a luxury rental setup. primary suites open directly to ocean-facing terraces, while guest rooms are positioned for privacy and quiet. light, air, and greenery move through the home naturally.
outside, a private driveway leads to generous parking and a two-car garage. the property sits in a peaceful, low-density part of playa roble, surrounded by mature trees and wildlife.
from the house, you can walk to small beaches, rocky tide pools, and seasonal freshwater swim holes along the coastline. streams and a seasonal waterfall run through the area, giving this neighborhood a rare, almost hidden feel. playa carrillo’s wide white-sand beach and calm bay are just a 9-minute drive away.
villa tranquila offers what many buyers are searching for but rarely find: modern construction, real ocean views, walk-to-nature access, and a sense of privacy that still feels connected to a vibrant coastal community.
this is quite a luxury in one of costa rica’s most beautiful corners.
