區域介紹

Frankfurter Allee is situated in one of Berlin’s most architecturally and historically significant locations. The building forms part of the listed architectural ensemble of the former Stalinallee, whose monumental residential buildings were constructed in the 1950s as prestigious “Palaces for the Workers”.

Block G-Nord was built between 1952 and 1956 to designs by an architectural collective led by Hanns Hopp. Its rhythmically articulated façade, projecting and recessed building sections, and classical architectural details make it a distinctive part of the grand boulevard stretching between Strausberger Platz and Frankfurter Tor.

Today, this location combines architectural heritage with the vibrant urban character of Friedrichshain. Around Frankfurter Tor, the impressive scale of the historic boulevard and its prestigious buildings meet the lively atmosphere of Berlin’s neighbourhood culture. Cafés, restaurants, independent boutiques and all essential everyday amenities can be found nearby. The surrounding streets of Boxhagener Platz, Simon-Dach-Straße and the Samariter neighbourhood offer an even wider selection of weekly markets, restaurants, bars and a diverse cultural scene.

At the same time, Volkspark Friedrichshain and the green spaces along the River Spree provide attractive opportunities for relaxation, leisurely walks and outdoor activities.

Public transport connections are excellent. Frankfurter Tor underground station, served by the U5 line, and several tram routes are just a few minutes away. Alexanderplatz and Berlin’s historic city centre are therefore within easy reach, as are Ostbahnhof, the Mediaspree district and the cultural and culinary destinations of the eastern city centre.

The result is a rare combination: prestigious Berlin architecture, a cosmopolitan urban setting and the freedom of a private retreat high above the city.

the defining design feature of this penthouse is the visible interplay between two distinct architectural eras.

where the roof and exterior façade of the historic building once stood, conventional interior walls have given way to something far more extraordinary. instead, the original building fabric has been preserved as an architectural element in its own right. historic façade surfaces, original window openings, projections and cornices now stand freely within the interior, telling the story of the building’s past.

the contemporary rooftop architecture envelops this historic core like a light-filled shell, creating a remarkable spatial experience: living in a modern penthouse while simultaneously inhabiting the space alongside the former façade of a listed berlin landmark.

it is precisely this contrast between past and present, solidity and transparency, sheltered interiors and expansive horizons that gives the residence its distinctive atmosphere.

the property will be handed over vacant, with all permanently fitted furniture and bespoke built-in elements remaining in place. this preserves the original architectural concept while offering ample opportunity for a new owner to introduce their own personal style.

the terrace has been included in the calculated living area at 25% of its actual floor area.

there are properties whose exceptional character cannot be captured by square metres or a list of features alone. this penthouse is one of them.

high above frankfurter allee, it combines the monumental architecture of one of berlin’s most significant architectural ensembles with the freedom of contemporary living. historic façade elements become sculptural features within the interior, expansive windows reveal sweeping city views, and an almost wraparound terrace extends the living space towards the horizon.

part of an exclusive ensemble of just six rooftop residences atop the buildings of the former stalinallee, the penthouse offers approximately 164 sq m of living space and an impressive rooftop terrace of around 125 sq m.

its distinctive character comes from the remarkable integration of historic architectural elements. former exterior walls, window openings, cornices and original material finishes have been preserved as independent features within the interior – almost like a house within a house. clean lines, expansive glazing and flowing spaces create a fascinating contrast between heritage and modernity.

at the heart of the residence lies a spacious living area with direct terrace access and a bespoke fireplace installation by kaminfabrik, elegantly integrated into low-profile cabinetry. the adjoining dining area accommodates up to eight guests, while via terrazzo flooring and a custom-made dark-wood bar evoke the atmosphere of a private salon.

the separate kitchen makes a striking design statement with expressive verde san denis marble, individually crafted by berlin-based specialists marmor ponzo. bespoke cabinetry, a bora induction hob, kitchenaid oven and skylight combine refined aesthetics with functionality. geometrically patterned black-and-white floor tiles complete the distinctive design.

the private quarters include a generously proportioned principal bedroom with terrace access, an adjoining dressing room and bespoke fitted cabinetry. the en-suite bathroom features a bathtub, walk-in shower and double vanity, complemented by premium mutina tiles, rich green tones and graphic patterns.

additional rooms offer flexibility as bedrooms, children′s rooms, guest accommodation or home offices. a separate area, accessible through the apartment’s second entrance, includes its own shower room with integrated utility facilities, making it ideal for guests, a home office or a private retreat. extensive bespoke joinery provides generous storage while blending seamlessly into the architecture.

a defining highlight is the approximately 125 sq m, almost wraparound rooftop terrace. accessible from several living and sleeping areas, it offers generous spaces for outdoor dining, lounging and secluded relaxation. its predominantly south-eastern orientation creates changing moods of light throughout the day, while panoramic views extend across the historic boulevard and berlin’s rooftops towards the iconic tv tower.

a lift provides access to the floor immediately below the penthouse. two separate entrances further enhance the versatility of this exceptional residence.
