contrasting the minimalist aesthetic that dominates much of contemporary residential architecture, villa casablanca stands out for its distinct architectural personality, refined interiors, and panoramic views over the mediterranean.
located in los altos de los monteros with perfect southern orientation, the villa enjoys abundant natural light that flows between the living room, formal dining room, and kitchen. the impressive oak woodwork is a constant throughout the home, integrated with custom furniture also designed by the architect and writer manuel ayllón, creating a notable continuity between architecture and interior design.
large windows enhance the connection with the outdoors, while wide sliding doors allow different areas to be separated or connected as needed. on this serene backdrop , original design pieces take center stage, including mackintosh chairs and le corbusier sofas in the living room, along with an art collection that includes works by chillida, mompó, and millares. the furniture is part of the property, preserving much of the identity with which its interiors were conceived.
outside, another defining element of villa casablanca is revealed: the expansive panoramic views over the mediterranean coast. porches and terraces extend the living areas towards the landscape, while the pool visually opens up to the sea.
the elevated position of los altos de los monteros offers a quieter, more residential aspect of marbella, characterized by open spaces and far-reaching views, without sacrificing proximity to the beaches of east marbella or the restaurants, shops, and lifestyle of marbella year-round.
