When World War II was over, Times Square was filled with the joyous atmosphere. Everyone took to the streets to celebrate the end of the war and just to enjoy a new day of peace. The photograph, "The Kiss", which shows a sailor, energized by the joy of victory and alcohol, bending down to hug and kiss a woman he had never met before, was taken in Times Square in New York and has become a classic of the 20th century. Currently, people who venture onto the streets in Times Square have a joy that is not less than the spirit shown in the photo. full article |

Vessel
Stepping onto Vessel, people can overlook the Hudson River in the vertical space and enjoy the most charming Manhattan street view in the one-kilometer climbing experience. Vessel, designed by the famous British contemporary design team, Heatherwick Studio, is the latest public square completed in 2019 in New York. It not only has the reputation of "New York's Eiffel Tower" but also comprises 154 intricately interconnecting flights of stairs, 2,500 individual steps, 80 landings and more than 28,000 plants. Reconstructed from an old elevator, Mmuseumm is hidden in the alleys of New York streets. Although it has the title of "the smallest museum in the world", what it wants to convey is the profound meaning of the life story behind each collection. Even the most local New Yorker may not necessarily hear or even visit Mmuseumm, which seems to be a different-dimensional space in a big city with a white and pure appearance. Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
Entering the 96th anniversary, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is the celebration on the streets of New York, attracting the most attention during Thanksgiving Day. Organized by Macy’s and consisting of cheerleaders, clowns, bands and giant cartoon balloons, the parade attracts more than three million people to participate and two million people to watch TV broadcasts every year. Due to the COVID-19 this year, although the large-scale gatherings will be cancelled and replaced by a three-hour TV live broadcast this year, the concept of bringing joy to the public will still hand over to all global audiences. more |
