Kailua
If you are coming to Waikiki to enjoy the sun and beaches, the Kailua Bay area, 12 miles northeast of Honolulu is a recommended place to avoid busy crowds. Oahu Island is a popular destination with soothing sea breezes and undisturbed beaches. Kailua is mainly a residential community, and the city centre can be reached along the Kailua Road. Famous attractions of the area include Kailua Beach Park, Kailua Marshes, Monaveri Falls and Hawaii Marine Corps Base. Due to its special geographical location, the Winter White House of former US President Obama is also located in this area. The Kailua Bay area faces east, and the sun can be seen on the horizon in the early morning. Watching the sunrise is very popular among early joggers. Local residents would bring children to play in the ocean waters after work or on holidays. Hawaii is the 50th state of the United States and consists of four main islands, including the Big Island, Maui, Oahu and Kauai. It is recommended to start an island-hopping tour from Honolulu, so that you can enjoy the different culture of each island and have a rich and exciting travel itinerary. |

Kona Coffee Hawaii is famous all over the world. The Kona area on the Big Island is rich in unique flavoured coffee beans. Its special flavors comes from the Hualalai volcanic soil in the local area. The coffee has obtained an official certification at the World Exposition in Vienna, Austria in 2017. Hawaii Food & Wine Festival
Hawaii is located in the center of the Pacific Ocean. There are many immigrants from Asian countries on the island, creating Hawaiian cuisine that blends Polynesian, Eastern and Western cooking styles. Hawaii’s food and wine festival is held every year. This year is the eleventh festival and it will be held on October 1 until the end of the year. The festival will extend from Waikiki to the other islands (Oahu, Maui and Big Island), showcasing Hawaii’s unique cuisine. A total of 17 events and 67 world-class chefs from Hawaii and the continental United States will participate in this event.
