Shibuya
Shibuya is one of the twenty-three city wards of Tokyo, and is often referred to as the most popular shopping and entertainment area. In this regard, Shibuya is one of Tokyo's most colorful and busy districts, packed with shopping, dining and nightclubs serving swarms of visitors that come to the district everyday. Shibuya is a center for youth fashion and culture, and its streets are the birthplace to many of Japan's fashion and entertainment trends. 忠犬八公廣場
這隻名叫小八的秋田犬曾有長達九年的時間，都待在澀谷車站外守候主人歸來，因此人們設立了一座獨一無二的雕像來紀念牠，地點就在 Shibuya Scramble Square 旁。雕像所在地的社區型小公園，成為最受遊客歡迎及喜愛到訪的景點之一。最靠近雕像的車站出口，已更名為 Hachikō-guchi ，意指「小八出口」。此外還有一條火車路線，已更名為「小八線」。並且在每年的四月八日，都會在忠犬八公廣場中舉辦紀念小八的活動。 |

Hachiko Square
Faithful mutt Hachiko spent nine years waiting for his master outside Shibuya Station, and is commemorated with this iconic statue near Shibuya Scramble Square. The spot has become a popular and beloved neighborhood park where tourists can honour the loyalty of this dog. This Hachiko statue isn’t the only memorial that honors this incredible dog. The station entrance closest to the statue was renamed “Hachikō-guchi” in Japanese. Furthermore, one of the train lines was also called the Hachiko Line. There is also an annual memorial service every April 8 at this still-popular Hachiko Square. |

SHIBUYA SKY

Shibuya Sky is approximately 230 metres above ground and is the highest point in the district of Shibuya. In addition to the breathtaking views, the rooftop also features hammocks for cloud watching and an observation compass to help you identify major landmarks in the distance such as Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Stadium and even Mount Fuji. PARCO Museum Tokyo（Shibuya）
Curated by NANZUKA gallery and under a license contract with The Walt Disney Company ( Japan ) Ltd. The show, titled Mickey Mouse Now and Future, is a homage to Mickey Mouse by a string of Japanese and international artists featuring various depictions of the iconic Disney character. Additionally, in correspondence to this exhibition, large three-dimensional works of Mickey Mouse produced by Javier Calleja and Hajime Sorayama will be presented as public art across the premises of the Shibuya PARCO store on both the lower and upper floors. more |
